Women in Facility Management (WFM) was formed in 2011 with the goal to promote a communication network for the female members of NJ IFMA. Talented and diverse women within the membership have fostered friendships and companionships with others who share the common bonds of working in the facility management industry and facing challenges all working women share. They have become a source of support and information for each other.
Several times a year, this group is invited to participate in an outing or event. Over the years, this has included golf, trips to museums, a painting class, a trip to an arboretum, and volunteering at Junior Achievement. For the past eight years there has been an Annual Beach Day. A different beach at the Jersey Shore has been visited each year ending with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. It has proven to be a great casual day of networking and fun.
On March 4, 2020, 13 brave souls put themselves out there for a Hula Hooping session with a very enthusiastic instructor, Angela Reiter from Color Me Hoopy. At the end of the class, there were several who could maneuver that hula hoop up over their heads and back down to their waist, then take a walk across the room. A good time was had by all! Special thanks to iCIMS for hosting us at Bell Works, Holmdel.

If you are a female NJ IFMA member, you automatically receive the invitations to the outings. Please consider participating when you receive your next invitation.
