Designed to meet the educational needs of facility managers, IFMA’s competency-based curriculums address tasks and projects FMs perform daily. Instructors teach not only the principles of facility management, but also how these principles operate in the real world.
Self-study programs are designed for convenience and self-paced learning. Workbooks and audio-tape sessions enable the busy facility professional to obtain specialized instruction from the home or office. CEUs and CFM® points are awarded for course completion.

IFMA has developed standards to recognize quality FM first-professional degree programs at colleges and universities. The program initiative was designed to recognize and encourage the strengthening of current, valid FM education degrees and assist in the development of new FM degree programs.
